To My Naya Wellness Center Community,                                                                  May 15th 2020

Naya has been closed since March 14th 2020 do to
the stay at home order for San Diego.
I sure do miss you, I greatly appreciate the kindness and support I have already received from some of you.

I hope you've been taking care of yourself mentally and physically, as you continue adjusting to our new way of life.
As the pandemic continues and numbers increase, I continue praying for the safety of you and your loved ones.

It's been almost three years since I became therapist and your health and safety have always been at the forefront of my mind, especially while in my care.

I was missing my job and livelihood and was unsure of what would come next,

So I started participating in weekly Zoom calls with my fellow colon hydro therapists and mentors.

It is I-ACT-International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy and it's Nationwide.

I learned that a list of "essential" businesses could remain open, but as a group we were told that Colon Hydrotherapy is considered to be "Elective Healthcare" and in most states we are labeled as a Spa.

I can't express how difficult this has been to swallow. As it sank in I felt lifeless, not only unable to operate but thinking of many of you who depend on Colonics for your optimal health and well-being.

For some, colonics have been a regular part of their monthly healthcare routine, and for others colonics have been an essential part of their healing journey from cancer and other diseases.

Although many don't understand the importance of colonics, rest assured the rest of us will continue advocating for this ancient practice, and fighting for it to become recognized on the level of importance it deserves.

I am doing my best to remain proactive and have applied for small business grants, and unemployment benefits, so far with no success. Still I am hopeful to stay in business.

For the time being, I am implementing new guidelines, and extra protection practices for your safety and mine.

This may be different than what you've been used to, but please know your safety is my number one concern.

I welcome your input as we navigate our way through this together.
As soon as I receive the green light to legally be re-opened, I will let you know.

Meantime, here are some reminders:

1. If you are not having at least one bowel movement daily, please contact me so I can help support you.

Remember, stress can manifest in our body and in turn we hold onto our stool mentally, physically, and emotionally.

2. Water! Remember to hydrate. Our body needs hydration on so many levels, and so does our colon.

Often we experience constipation from the lack of proper hydration.

3. Fruits! Vegetables! Greens! X 10!

Greasy, processed, and refined sugar are not beneficial to our health.

4. Get outside and go for a walk. Get some exercise and move your body.

It will help you clear your mind. Get some fresh air, get some sunlight. It feels great!

5. Try some relaxation techniques and meditation.

Calming essential oils are so helpful and it also helps boost our immune system.

6. Clear bowels lead to a clear mind.

This is a stressful time , but there is still so much beauty around us we have much to be thankful for.

Remember to laugh, it's so good for our heart.

Call me if you have any questions, or if there is anything I can do for you during this time.

Even though my business doors are closed,

God gave me a heart to continue loving others and so I remain personally open to you.

Clear bowels lead to a clear mind.

I look forward to the day I see you again,

With love and light
